Our Objectives

The objectives of the Christian Union are as below

1. Evangelism

To train, encourage and commit its members to preach Jesus Christ in and out of campus with an aim of leading people to a personal commitment to Him.

2. Discipleship

To foster maturity of its members through Bible Study, prayer and fellowship.

3. Mission and Compassion

To mobilize members into mission work, compassion activity and societal transformation in every sphere of life as God leads them.

4. Leadership Development

To identify, develop and enhance leadership skills of its members through training, mentorship and experience.

we regard unity as seeking oneness in the midst of our diversity as we value each other and work together to build up the body of Christ.

we regard integrity as a faithful adherence to a moral code in diverse areas of life

we regard accountability as the state of being responsible for oneself and others in all aspects that is conduct, statement, time and finances.

we regard stewardship as faithful management of resources, abilities and people entrusted to our care by God and knowing that we shall give an account.

we regard excellence as the quality of being outstanding and delivering quality results in all aspects of life for the glory of God.

Living Our Faith Together

worship services and fellowship

Experience spiritual growth and meaningful connection through heartfelt worship and fellowship. They are dedicated times of gathering where we come together to honor and glorify God through songs, prayers, and reflection on His Word. Through vibrant music, heartfelt prayer, and impactful preaching or teaching, creating an atmosphere of reverence and joy. which serve as a central expression of the Unions faith, providing a time for spiritual renewal and encouragement.

community outreach

aimed at sharing Christ’s love through practical service and spiritual engagement. These programs often include activities such as feeding the needy, visiting orphanages and elderly homes, hosting medical camps, environmental clean-ups, educational mentorship, and evangelistic missions. Each program is designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the community, demonstrating the love of Christ in action.

Spritual growth programs

They are designed to nurture the faith and spiritual maturity of our members. These programs include Bible study sessions, prayer meetings, worship nights and discipleship programs. The primary focus is on fostering a deeper relationship with God, equipping members to live out their faith, and encouraging spiritual accountability within the Christian Union community.

Doctrinal Basis

Membership shall be open only to those in agreement with the fundamental biblical truths as enumerated below:

The unity of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit in the God head

The sovereignty of God in the creation, revelation, redemption and final judgment

The divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness of the Holy scripture

The universal sinfulness and guilt of all men since the fall rendering them subject to God's wrath and condemnation

The divine birth of Jesus Christ

Redemption from guilt, penalty, dominion and pollution of sin, solely through the sacrificial and substitution death of our lord Jesus Christ as our representative

The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and his ascension to the right hand of God the father

The justification of the sinner by the grace of God alone through faith

The presence and the power of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life

The in-dwelling and the working of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life
