WELOME TO MUST CU MINISTRIES
Meru University Christian Union (MUST CU) has several ministries, each focusing on different aspects of spiritual growth, fellowship, and service. These ministries serve as avenues for members to grow in faith, discover their talents, and contribute to the Union's mission of spreading the Gospel and supporting one another in their Christian walk.
Importance of Joining a Ministry
Active involvement in a ministry allows members to deepen their relationship with God and grow in their faith. Members can discover and develop their God-given talents, such as singing, teaching, or technical skills. Being part of a ministry fosters a sense of belonging and provides a support system within the Union. Ministries are avenues to serve both the Union and the wider community, embodying Christ’s call to love and serve others. Active participation can lead to leadership roles, enhancing personal growth and responsibility. Joining a ministry enriches members with experience, making it more meaningful and spiritually fulfilling. It offers a platform to impact others positively while growing in faith and character.
Music ministry includes the praise and worship, choir and instrumentalists ministries. The choir and Praise and worship deal with all music ministrations, in services and special events. The instumentalists engage in setting up, playing and maintaining all musical instruments.
The CU Sunday School Ministry is a nurturing space where both sunday school teachers and children and youth deepen their faith through engaging lessons about faith and God. Our age-appropriate curriculum and interactive activities foster spiritual growth and community building, empowering them to live out their faith daily
Arts and media comprises of IT, Publicity and creative ministries and the sports department. IT ministries deals with computer maintenace, projection in services and website management. Publicity deals with livestreaming of services and events, photography and graphics design. Sports department is concerned with planning and organizing sports activities for the union.
Hospitality ministry comprises of Ushering, decor and catering ministries. Ushering ministry deals with arranging venues for all events, ushering in members into services and collection of offerings. Decor ministry deals with decorating venues for events through designing and setting up flowers. Catering ministry deals with praparing meals for speakers and all union events.
The welfare ministry provides essential support to our community's vulnerable members. Through diverse programs, including food assistance and counseling, we aim to uplift individuals and families in need. Collaborating with volunteers and partners, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of those we serve, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for all.
